WILTON'S BRIGHT LIGHTS
Hope & Joy in the Dark
November 1, 2020 - February 14, 2021
COVID-19 canceled Wilton's Big Block Party Weekend this summer, and after almost eight months in a pandemic, we are struggling with COVID fatigue. To stay hopeful and strong we need a light in the darkness.
Join us for Wilton’s Bright Lights. This initiative is an opportunity for our community to come together and bring more light into our lives.
Families and neighborhoods are asked to decorate the outside of their homes, yards and/or mailboxes with lights (clear or any colors) to show our unity, fostering a feeling of connection so that we can find strength in this shared experience and be resilient.
“Wilton’s Bright Lights” Step by Step How to:
-
Decorate your house, yard and/or mailbox with clear or colored lights
-
Reach out to your neighbors to get your whole street involved
-
Display your lights anytime from the first week of November until Valentine’s Day
-
Tag #wiltonsbrightlights in your social media posts and share on “Wilton's Big Block Party Weekend & Wilton's Bright Lights” FB page
We invite all who want to participate in “Wilton’s Bright Lights” to begin your display of lights the first week in November. We hope that all will continue to share in this community event through February 14th, 2021.
