Meditation for Wilton's High School Students

Four virtual workshops

Wednesdays, January 6, 13, 20 & 27

4:00 - 4:30 pm

Mindfulness meditation is a powerful form of self-care that can be practiced anytime and anywhere. Alena Murphy, a mindfulness meditation instructor, will give an introduction to this simple, yet effective method. If you find yourself feeling stressed or anxious these days, you are not alone. Regular meditation can help build resilience and increase self-awareness, offering skills to help navigate the challenges that our lives present. Join us on Zoom for a 30-minute mindfulness meditation break and experience the positive impact it can have on your mental and physical health.

In a small group virtual setting you will be shown how meditation can help you:
- reduce stress and anxiety
- manage difficult emotions
- improve focus
- find compassion and empathy for yourself and others

For Wilton's high school students. Space limited and registration required for each session.  Come to one or all four!
