Taking Charge of the College Process: How to Feel Better, Reduce Stress and Make Decisions in Uncertain Times

Tuesday, October 20

10:00 - 11:00 AM

The college process has come to be viewed as THE BIG EVENT in the lives of students, creating outsized pressure on teens and their families.  Add to this the disruption and uncertainty brought by the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on admissions, and many people are feeling high levels of stress and anxiety.

Join Susan Bauerfeld, Ph.D., and Victoria Hirsch for Taking Charge of the College Process. In this webinar, Bauerfeld and Hirsch will offer updated tips, strategies and suggestions for viewing the college process as a natural next step in a student’s development rather than THE BIG EVENT and for managing the process in ways that foster resilience and relationships rather than discord and despair.

This is a free event recommended for parents of 10th-12th graders. All adults and interested parties are welcome to attend.

Sponsored by SPED*NET Wilton, Weston Youth Services, and Wilton Youth Council.
