Community Breakfast Wednesday, October 3, 2007 8 - 10am Wilton Library - Brubeck Room
Dear Colleague,
The Community Breakfasts were developed many years ago as a way to keep the youth-serving community familiar with one another. The benefits are obvious – strong, professional and trusting relationships make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. It is clear that not one entity can do it all; it takes family, school and community groups working together.
Please join us at Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room for this autumn’s Community Breakfast. Share good food and conversation with others in the youth service field; meet new people and catch up with those already known.
Rosalind Wiseman will provide a program for professionals and volunteers based on her latest book, Queen Bee Mom’s and King Pin Dad’s. Thanks to the generosity of Wilton PTA Council and Wilton Youth Council (Parent Connection Program) we are able to bring Ms. Wiseman to Wilton. We are also grateful to the Wilton Library for hosting this event.
Please feel free to copy and distribute the enclosed flyer to others who might be interested.
Here’s to a great school year for all children! Hope to see you the morning of October 3rd.
Colleen Fawcett, LCSW Wilton Youth Services
